If you’ve been playing Minecraft for a while then you’ve probably had your fair share of experience with Rollercoaster mod maps. These maps are immense amounts of fun and provide one of the most exhilarating experiences that you can have with this game. However, while directly playing rollercoaster maps is a fun and relatively easy task, making them is a whole different story. There are a lot of complex things that go into making a rollercoaster in Minecraft and many that have tried it have often fallen short due to a variety of reasons but that might not be the case any longer.
The Rollercoaster Mod is here to take care of all the problems people face with building rollercoasters in minecraft. This mod does an excellent job of simplifying the process of making Rollercoasters and turning it into something that all players can do. However, before going into further detail regarding it, one important thing that needs to be mentioned is the fact that the rollercoasters that you design from this mod will function properly with this mod only. So if you’re a creator and want others to try out your design then you need to mention that this mod needs to be installed beforehand.
One of the best parts about the Rollercoaster Mod is that it adds a ton of unique specialty tracks. These tracks not only aid greatly in the construction process but they increase the functionality of the final product as well. You’ll notice that the rollercoasters you make by using this mod will feel much more natural and versatile and this is mainly due to the fact that the specialty tracks simply give them the potential to do a whole lot more than they could before.
The Rollercoaster Mod has also gone through various changes and improvements ever since its release. For instance all supports, wooden supports, footers, fences and such now render as 3D in inventories and when dropped. Players were also reporting various instances of crashing when using this mod but that issue seems to have been remedied as well.
This mod is available for Minecraft 1.7.10 and all credits for it go to Diamond_Miners who is of course the original creator. As for its future, the developer has talked of plans to implement fully interchangeable rollercoaster trains that can be changed and customized exactly according to your preferences. There will also be some great decorative blocks that can help you build your very own theme park as well.
