Realistic Adventure Resource Pack 1.10.2/1.10/1.11/1.9.4

Realistic Adventure Resource Pack 1.10.2 – Tired of the old blocky and cubic look that Minecraft gives? Want to enjoy the same great gameplay but with some incredible visuals accompanying it? Your wishes might be a possibility after all. The Realistic Adventure Resource Pack is one of the more recent resource packs for Minecraft and the latest addition to the long line of packs designed simply to enhance how the game looks and provide players with a much better experience in terms of visuals. However, this pack is without a doubt miles above others in the same category because of its top notch execution.

The purpose of this mod is of course to enhance the traditional blocky look of Minecraft and make it look much more realistic and lifelike. It does this by basically sharpening things up, improving the effects, adding better lighting and giving the textures much more detail than usual. Of course one thing to keep in mind regarding this pack is that since it’s an HD pack, HD meaning above the resolution of 32×32, it requires that you have Optifine installed beforehand in order to function properly. MCPatcher is also a viable alternative so feel free to use whatever fits your preferences.

One thing that sets the Realistic Adventure Resource Pack apart from other similar releases is that instead of going for a bright color palette it instead chooses to go for a darker and more medieval styled look. Choosing to go for this look is sort of a double edged sort since it can look rather dull of not built properly however if things are designed how they should then the pack would be head and shoulders above all the others that utilize bright color schemes.

Although it sounds pretty awesome on paper, bear in mind that as of this moment the Realistic Adventure Resource Pack only re-textures the blocks but fortunately the developer has plans to add things like item textures in the near future which would surely make this a top tier pack that pretty much anyone could enjoy.

The Realistic Adventure Resource Pack for Minecraft has been designed by OPYowie and is available for use with all 1.8.X versions of the game. Something to keep in mind is that the pack has a resolution of 64×64 so a low-end PC might not be able to run it in all its glory.
