The OceanCraft Mod for Minecraft is a really high quality mod that enhances the in-game oceans and gives tons of new functionality options to make the gameplay experience more enjoyable and immersive. There are many things to like about Minecraft such as the massive game world, the addictive gameplay, the many sights to see and much more. However, one thing that this game has always lacked is a properly designed system for its oceans. The default settings only allow you to view it from afar and not actually do anything inside it but the OceanCraft Mod is here to change all that.
Basically what the OceanCraft Mod does is that it adds a whole bunch of gameplay options and actual life to the oceans of Minecraft. While they’re usually empty and don’t offer any kinds of activities for the players to engage themselves with, that won’t be the case any longer once you’ve applied this mod. The bottom of the ocean will become filled up with many kinds of deepwater fish and the ocean will be filled up with beautiful sea creatures everywhere. It makes the water so immersive that you’ll hardly ever want to get out of it. This speaks volumes to the quality of this mod.
Other than adding multiple different mobs in the ocean, the mod also creates multitudes of cool things like seaweed, oysters and a bunch of other stuff that you’d usually find in an actual ocean. One thing to keep in mind though is that the ocean is actually quite dark so you might not be able to see things clearly from afar. In order to properly examine something you’ll have to get up close to it but you’ll need to get out of the ocean from time to time due to obvious reasons.
If you feel up for a true challenge then the OceanCraft Mod has you covered. Upon heading to the deepest depths of the ocean you’ll run into some intriguing and powerful new mobs, special kinds of blocks and much more. It’s pretty incredible how many things this mod manages to implement into the game. You’ll be able to spend hours upon hours experiencing all the amazing things that it has to offer. Overall, the OceanCraft Mod makes the oceans of Minecraft much more realistic and is definitely worth trying out.
