Draga Resource Pack – Minecraft is usually a pretty bright game. It utilizes a color palette that’s much bright than the usual sandbox game and while this does make it more appealing to the general public, some people like their video games with some darker colors. Fortunately, the amazing modding capabilities of Minecraft allow players to alter their game’s look and make it exactly according to their preferences. There are multitudes of resource and texture packs available with darker color shades and the Draga 18 Resource Pack is one of them.
one of the best things about this resource pack is that it doesn’t completely dull down the visuals of the game. While yes, some people tend to enjoy darker color shades more than lighter ones in their games but pretty much no one likes a completely dark game where everything seems to be dead or dying. Although the Draga 18 Resource Pack does darken things up, it still retains some of the defining elements of the game like lighter textures for the vegetation which, in contrast with the overall darker textures, make the game look highly appealing.
Aside from the vegetation, things like wall textures and other similar visual elements seem like they had some color sucked from them. While you’ll definitely be able to tell what color a specific object is, you’ll often times be looking twice at things just to confirm what they look like because this mod basically dries up the colors a bit in order to make the game look a bit darker and less bright and shiny. It actually even looks scary in a way since people are used to a bright Minecraft world with shiny colors popping up everywhere.
Perhaps the biggest highlight of this mod and the thing that makes it so standout is the fact that it pays attention to even the tiniest of details. While most resource packs nowadays only change the major textures that players see during most of their gameplay, the Draga 18 Resource Pack goes above and beyond to make sure that even the smallest of things has been changed. This fact alone makes this quite better than most similar resource packs out there. The mod has been designed by taterman 88 and is available for downloading but bear in mind that as of right now it’s only available for Minecraft 1.8 so if you’re running an older version of the game then it might not function.
