Custom NPCs Mod – Unique NPCs
The Custom NPCs mod is a very useful mod that takes customization in Minecraft to a whole new level and allows players to make extremely good use of their creativity. There’s simply no doubting the fact that NPCs play a pretty massive role in basically every single game because these are the people who offer you quests, are the people you have to fight, are the people who help the story progress or are filling in some other crucial role. This mod has probably been developed keeping this importance of NPCs in mind.
You can probably tell what the Custom NPCs mod does simply by looking at its name. It offers players a very versatile and useful set of tools that they can use to create their very own personalized NPCs that can then be implemented in the game. It’s a very popular mod as it sees over a 100k downloads every single month and rightly so because it’s a very useful mod that has allowed players to pull off some great things. The mod has been around for roughly two years and has seen a whole bunch of updates over its lifespan that have added a whole bunch of new features for the players to utilize.
The great thing about the Custom NPCs mod is that it not only allows you to create custom looking NPCs, it actually allowed you to customize and alter their statistics as well. Once you’ve designed your NPC you will be able to modify its health, strength and even the AI that it uses. The mod also allows players to equip the NPCs they create with any kind of equipment and this is pretty useful for a variety of obvious reasons.
So, if you’re someone who often designs maps with adventures and stories then you’ll probably love the Custom NPCs since it will allow you to create personalized NPCs that you can place in your map to give it a much more professional feel. It’s important to note that the mod isn’t free of bugs so you will probably have to experience some crashing issues from time to time and there’s also a bug that makes NPCs hold up their shields and weapons in a weird looking manner. However, if you can look past these minor problems then you will definitely enjoy what this mod has to offer.
