Advanced Inventory Mod – Almost every single person who plays Minecraft on a fairly regular basis has run into a moment where they want to change their inventory and allow it to store more items than the standard default. In a game like Minecraft players often embark on some really long journeys where they run into some really intriguing stuff that they’d like to take with them but more often than not, situations arise when the inventory is already full so you have to leave behind whatever interesting thing you found while exploring the world. Fortunately, this won’t be an issue any longer thanks to the Advanced Inventory Mod that, as the name implies, adds a lot of functionality to the inventory.
Before going into any further detail regarding this mod, it is worth pointing out that it only works on Minecraft versions 1.8 and 1.8.x so if you’re running an older version you won’t be able to make use of it. However, as long as you’re running an updated client you’ll be able to run it with ease as it has a relatively low amount of bugs and doesn’t struggle with any technical issues that tend to arise in a lot of mods that focus on enhancing the gameplay. This is especially impressive considering the fact that the mod is still in a fairly early stage of development.
To put it simply, the main thing this mod does is that it greatly increases the standard inventory space which of course means that you can store a lot more things and will have to take less trips back to your storage area when you’re out exploring. The regular inventory is also given a lot of other various improvements that make it much easier to use as well which is something that all players will appreciate quite a bit since it can get rather tedious to use at times.
One thing that should be pointed out about this mod is that you won’t get access to this inventory right from the get-go after installing the mod. To make use of the advanced inventory you will need to craft an upgrade designed specifically for the purpose and after using it you will then have access to all that this mod has to offer. The inventory consists of six areas and each area has 9 slots which is pretty incredible.
The mod has been designed by CubeX2 and is sure to see a lot of new improvements and features in the future since it is in a fairly early stage of development right now after all.
